Gate Code Access Change

Please be advised that as part of the upcoming security update, all existing community gate codes will be permanently deleted from the system. In addition, going forward, any homeowner who shares their personal gate code with others will be held liable. This measure is being taken to enhance community security and ensure accountability for all access activity in the event that an unauthorized individual uses your personal code to access the community and subsequently commits a crime.
Beginning Monday, September 29, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., Essex Management will conduct a comprehensive gate directory audit for the Waterview at Enchanted Bay community. This audit is being performed to ensure the accuracy and security of the gate access system.
As part of this process, all outdated, unverified, or inactive gate access codes and remote fobs (clickers) will be removed from the system.
What This Means for You:
To prevent any disruption in your ability to access the community, each homeowner must verify or update their gate access information with our office prior to the audit date.
How to Update Your Information:
1. Gate Fob Users:
o If you use a gate remote fob, you do not need to complete the Gate Fob Form.
o Instead, please email a clear photo of the numbers printed on your fob to access@essexhoa.com.
o Be sure to include your property address in the subject line of the email.
o Provide us with a NEW 4-digit personal access code for your property so it can be verified in the system.
2. Homeowners Using Personal Gate Codes or Directory Access:
o Please complete the Gate Fob Form, available on the HOA website:
o Waterview at Enchanted Bay HOA - Gate Access Request
o This form allows you to:
Ensure your 4-digit personal gate code is active.
Confirm that your name and phone number appear correctly in the gate call box directory, allowing visitors to call you for entry.
o Submit the completed form as soon as possible. If you are needing new fobs, please make that selection on the form and they will be mailed to your property address with tracking information.
After the Audit:
If you notice that your fob, gate code, or directory access is not functioning after Monday, September 29, please contact our office immediately to resolve the issue and restore access.
